Refugee and Immigration Services (RIS Va) exists to serve the communities of the Greater Richmond, Hampton Roads, and Roanoke Valley areas in Virginia.

Always contact by telephone, or email, our nearest location before showing up at their door step. All of Refugee and Immigration Services offices are very busy, and walk-ins are rarely accepted. Help is available, but usually by appointment only. Please plan ahead, as the waiting time for a new appointment with Refugee and Immigration Services can be as long as three (3) weeks.
