Citizenship Test
Preparation Classes

Beginning the citizenship naturalization process is important for immigrants who have been a permanent resident (ie, have obtained a Green Card) for at least five years, since becoming a citizen offers many advantages. Refugee and Immigration Services Immigration Counseling can provide assistance to immigrants, for a fee, in completing the N-400 Application for Naturalization to the U. S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

Free Citizenship Class

Refugee and Immigrations services is offering a Free Citizenship Test Preparation Class to permanent residents who are within one to two years of naturalization and whose English is beyond the advanced ESL proficiency level. This class is designed to prepare citizenship students for the written citizenship test and the interview portion of the N-400 Naturalization process. It is a ten-week class that meets once a week for two hours each session.

  • Getting through the Naturalization Interview with an USCIS Immigration Officer.

RIS is conducting this Citizenship Test Preparation Class in English, only.

We also offer Free English as a Second Language (ESL) Instruction Classes for immigrants who need to improve their proficiency in English.
